Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has launched the Toyo Proxes T1 Sport in the United States market. Track-tested on the Nürburgring in Germany, the Proxes T1 Sport is a premium UHP summer tire that Toyo says delivers increased control and precision for true balance in both wet and dry handling.

Corp. “Improvements over the Toyo Proxes T1R include better high speed stability, precise steering response, improved braking performance and high cornering power at high speed.”
Optimum cornering performance and straight line stability are a result of a new high stiffness compound which is combined with an asymmetric, non-directional tread. Wide outer tread blocks deliver responsive steering and high grip. Wide tread grooves help channel water for improved resistance to aquaplaning.

In addition to authorized dealers, one will find the Proxes T1 Sport as original equipment on the 2011 Audi TT, TTS and TT RS. The Proxes T1RTM will still be available in 15 select sizes, ranging from 15 to 22 inches in rim diameter.
