Since 2010, Team BFGoodrich has included a variety of top motorsports superstars, key industry partners, market influencers and enthusiasts who share the BFGoodrich Tires passion for driving – from motorsports and car building to engineering and everything in between.
Fans can participate in Team BFGoodrich activities by voting for their favorite team members on the BFGoodrich Tires Facebook page (www.facebook.com/bfgoodrichtires). The winning Team BFGoodrich members may attend the SCORE Baja 1000 race in November or have an opportunity to participate in the Skip Barber Racing School. Voting starts today and will close on Aug. 31, 2011.
“Both Team BFGoodrich members and fans of the brand are critical to the BFGoodrich Tires family,” said Duane Thomas, BFGoodrich’s marketing communications manager. “They’re enthusiasts like us, and we want their input when developing new tires or expanding programs. This Facebook vote is a fun way for BFGoodrich Tires fans to interact with their favorite motorsports personalities and decide which Team BFGoodrich member will race in Baja and attend the Skip Barber Racing School.”
Six drivers will pilot the BFGoodrich Tires’ Wide Open Excursion vehicle in the Baja Challenge (BC) Class in the 44th Annual SCORE Baja 1000. Four of these drivers will be Team BFGoodrich members who were chosen by their fans, and the two remaining seats will go to the 2011 SCCA National Runoff’s Champions. Team BFGoodrich members already participating in the SCORE Baja 1000 will also be a part of the vote with the chance to win a trip to Skip Barber Racing School.
