Kumho Tires Co. Ltd. is carrying out a joint marketing program with Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance to increase the quality of its customer service. Samsung Fire is South Korea's largest non-life insurance company with products that include automobile, long-term and commercial insurance, enterprise risk management, annuities and other financial services.

“We believe that this business arrangement with Samsung Fire will become a win-win marketing program, as both companies can improve their customer satisfaction by bringing more diversified benefits and enjoy other synergies, like improved customer satisfaction, more customer acquisition and sales boost,” says Hae-uk Choi, sales director of Kumho Tires. “We’ll continuously commit ourselves in providing many unique services to our customers to become the best company in customer satisfaction.”

Kumho says the agreement was built on efforts to deliver more practical and adequate customer service by taking advantage of the diverse experiences of the two different business fields.

Recently, Kumho Tires has focused on making partnerships with a number of firms, to provide improved benefits to its customers. Its alliance with E-Mart manages a customer-oriented, one-stop service to enable consumers to handle everything in one-stop from shopping and refueling to tire replacement and check-up. It also provides a discount program and an interest-free installment plan after establishing ties with Shinhan Card, which attracts positive reactions from its customers and retail stores.
