Kumho Tire sees vctory at International Motorsports Games

Kumho Tire, which already won second place at the last VLN opening game, moved to the semi-pro class VD1T with its Ian Racing Team (Peugeot RCZ) wining the championship in the heated rally. Throughout this championship, Kumho Tire has proven its motorsports capabilities without question.

Kumho Tire has also shown exceptional ability at both off-road and on-road rallies. The company participated in several gravel rallies including the Dakar Rally, also known as the ‘Death Rally’, and others in Britain, Spain, Australia, China and France. On the first of this month, Kumho Tire won the championship by beating Michelin and Pirelli.

Since Kumho Tire began its active participation in various rallies, such as Euro F3 and Masters F3 in early 2000, it has raised brand awareness and strengthened its standing through aggressive motorsports marketing activities.

A Kumho Tire official said, “This outstanding performance is the result of name recognition and the technological strength that Kumho Tire has accumulated through motorsports. By participating in these competitions and proving the quality of Kumho Tire products, we aim to establish a solid foothold in the global market in terms of sales and marketing.”
