Federal Corp.’s 595 EVO run-flat tire will soon be available in the United Kingdom. The tire will be available from Group Tyre, a tire wholesaler in UK with nationwide members.
“Federal designs, manufactures and supplies the best-in-class 595 EVO run-flat tire, which contributes towards enhanced driving safety, and prevents a tire from deforming and puncturing,” says Henry Lin, Federal’s director of its Global Sales Division. “As such, we cannot think of a more suitable way to mark the start of international distribution of the FRF (Federal Run-Flat) tires than to send our first shipment to UK that further strengthens our ongoing relationship between Federal and Group Tyres.”
Federal says the FRF technology in the 595 EVO run-flat tire includes reinforced sidewalls with stiffer, more heat-resistant rubber to support a deflated tire. It features enhanced handling and allows safe travel to a tire service point.
“We are very excited to be getting our first shipment of units out to the well-established partner like Group Tyres,” says Lin. “The performance characteristics of the 595 EVO Run-flat further demonstrate Federal’s breakthrough technology in manufacturing such a tire. We look forward to obtaining more additional orders from other global markets in the near future.”
The 595 EVO run-flat is Federal’s latest export. Most recently the company began exporting its Couragia F/X tire to Australia (see No worries: Federal’s Couragia ships down under).
