Last week, you may have read about Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s annual shareholders meeting. The agenda was pre-planned, as shareholders already had voted on the proposals.

That's standard procedure.

The agenda included the re-election of the 12 board members. Modern Tire Dealer Editor Bob Ulrich did not consider the re-election a formality, however.
