The Tire Industry Association (TIA) will not hold the 2009 Retread Appearance Contest that was scheduled for the 2009 TIA Commercial Tire & Retread Conference, which will be held in Orlando, Fla., Feb. 9-11.
The contest has been canceled due to "the current economic situation," say TIA officials.
