Tenneco offers rewards on Monroe brake pads

Tenneco Inc. is offering incentives to consumers and automotive service professionals who choose Monroe Ceramics and/or Monroe Dynamics brake pads for brake repairs this spring.

The Monroe “Brake Event REWARDS” consumer promotion will offer $15 mail-in cash rebates to motorists who purchase any set of Monroe brake pads from a participating parts or service provider between April 1 and May 31, 2011.

Professional technicians can qualify for a $25 cash reward for every 10 sets of Monroe pads installed between April 1 and June 30 through the Monroe “Brake Event REWARDS” trade promotion. There is no limit to the number of $25 cash rewards a participant can earn throughout the program period.

Recipient of the prestigious 2010 Product Differentiation Excellence Award from global research firm Frost & Sullivan, Monroe brake pads are delivered complete with required hardware kits, wire wear sensors and lube for many applications.

Each Monroe Ceramics and Monroe Dynamics brake pad features an application-specific friction formulation based on the original equipment technology, as well as slots and chamfers that either match or improve on the original design. This OE-focused engineering approach helps shops minimize brake service comebacks related to noise, pedal feel, pad life and other potential issues, the company says.
