Jeep Wrangler calls it the 'Rancho Trio'

April 4, 2011

Three new Rancho suspension systems are designed for the 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ series.

According to Tenneco Inc., the Rancho systems incorporate their Jeep heritage into each design. The first option for the Wrangler TJ/LJ is the new 3.5-in. short-arm suspension system (RS6504). It provides additional performance benefits and "head-turning" appearance to the popular Jeep models.

The red-only kit includes specially engineered, high-articulation, two-inch outside diameter by 3/16-inch inside diameter control arms with a patented bushing system that helps increase approach angles during off-road driving.

The new short-arm kit also includes a front adjustable track bar; new forged pitman arm; rear track bar relocation bracket; and front and rear heavy duty springs.

Fitting up to 35-inch tires, the system includes a transfer case shifter relocation bracket and drop down spacers to allow for the use of factory drive-shafts; a unique front sway bar disconnect design; and new brake lines for increased articulation. No exhaust modifications are required to install the system.

Rancho also has launched two sport suspension systems for the TJ/LJ platform: a 3.5-inch kit that fits up to 35-inch tires (RS6501) and a 2.5-inch kit that fits up to 32-inch tires (RS6503). Both systems are available in a red finish only.

Each sport suspension system includes rear track bar relocation bracket; new lower links; front and rear heavy duty springs; transfer case shifter relocation brackets; and drop down spacers to allow use of factory driveshafts. The install requires no exhaust modification.
