Tenneco tools support OESpectrum launch

March 16, 2011

Tenneco Inc. has launched an array of point-of-sale merchandising materials and other tools to help installers increase their ride control sales.

To support the Monroe OESpectrum shock and strut launch, the Monroe marketing team developed new print and online advertising materials, technical brochures and other literature, as well as point-of-sale items such as a metal tacker shop sign for interior or exterior use. (The tacker sign and related materials are being distributed to members of Tenneco’s Expert Plus dealer loyalty program.)

Bill Dennie, director, channel management, North American aftermarket, Tenneco, says, “Our new OESpectrum communication materials are designed to maximize awareness and demand for these world-class shocks and struts at every level of the distribution chain, including among the millions of consumers who drive foreign nameplate vehicles.”

Monroe OESpectrum shocks and struts utilize the company’s latest Impact Control Valve (ICV) and Low Speed Tunability (LST) piston design to deliver optimum control under virtually all driving conditions while isolating noise, vibration and harshness, the company points out. They also feature Tenneco’s Twin Technology Active Control System and comprise approximately 800 SKUs covering popular foreign nameplate passenger vehicles.
