Raybestos adds free training to rewards program

Feb. 22, 2011

The Raybestos Rewards Program is more than just a marketing tool for the Affinia Global Brake & Chassis Group. And it keeps on giving.

The program has added training to its list of features, which includes:

* free branded point of sale materials;

* automatic enrollment in the “Gimme a Reward” box top program;

* free online training for professional repair facilities and their technicians.

The two current training modules coach technicians in providing business-building customer service when performing brake and chassis repair work. This training is being launched exclusively to Raybestos Rewards members.

"We developed the training modules to increase customer satisfaction and overall profitability for the technician,” says Wally Marciniak, director of technical service for Affinia’s Global Brake and Chassis Group.

In addition to the online training, Raybestos Rewards members also receive regularly updated POS materials and unlimited access to the Tech Service Hotline. Free consumer rebate programs are automatically mailed directly to the participating technicians, and "Tech Service Bulletins" are e-mailed on a monthly basis.

Members also receive a free listing on the dealer locator on the Raybestos brakes Web site.

“The items in the Raybestos Rewards kit, as well as the tools sent throughout the year, support installers with problem-solving information and business-building messaging,” says Georgianne Dickey, Raybestos brand marketing manager.

Redeeming Raybestos Rewards points toward merchandise or checks is easy, and shipping is always free. Technicians may choose from 64 items in a wide variety of sizes and colors, including apparel, tools, sporting goods and popular gift items.

Raybestos is produced and marketed by the Affinia Global Brake & Chassis division of Affinia Group Inc. For more information on Raybestos brake or chassis parts or The Raybestos Rewards Program, visit www.raybestos.com.
