Marangoni Tread North America (MTNA) recently manufactured its one millionth RINGtread at its plant in Madison, Tenn.
The tread was produced using Marangoni's Alpha-RING process.
"We are proud and thankful that we've been able to achieve this important milestone," says MTNA CEO and President Bill Sweatman.
"This is the icing on the cake in a year full of successes. Our unit sales have increased more than 10% this year and along with other improvements we have gained both market share and market strength.
"One million RINGtreads produced (at the Madison plant) is a proud team accomplishment. We employ lean manufacturing initiatives and a team-oriented management style" at the factory.
RINGtread products made in Madison are shipped to MTNA's network of retreaders throughout North America and to Marangoni's divisions in Brazil and Europe.
