American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD) recently opened a new distribution center and a new redistribution facility in metropolitan Chicago, Ill.
The 98,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution center is located at 9450 Sergo Drive in McCook, Ill. It will service tire and wheel retailers in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
The more than 135,000-square-foot redistribution facility, also located on Sergo Drive, will supply products to ATD’s distribution centers in the central United States, including recently opened facilities in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Ind.
“This new distribution center will provide dealers in and around Chicago with a broad array of products and brands coupled with the high level of service we strive to provide our customers,” says William “Bill” Berry, ATD CEO and president.
“The redistribution facility is another example of ATD’s commitment to build its operational strength and customer base in the Midwest and Great Lakes sections of the country."
