Tyrexpo Africa 2012 will be held March 6-8, 2012, at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The show was launched so that attendees could access “the untapped potential of new business opportunities in Africa’s developing tire and equipment markets,” according to show organizers ECI International. "We know that millions of dollars of business was transacted among the record number of exhibitors and visitors who attended the last show in March 2010,” says Paul Farrant, managing director.
And ECI is confident that with a stronger global economy forecast for 2012, the last show's numbers will be surpassed.
Since its launch in 2006, Tyrexpo Africa has brought together leading domestic and international suppliers specializing in tire and equipment manufacturing, distribution, retailing, servicing and repair.
“The aftermarket for tire equipment and service is increasingly global and extremely mobile,” says Farrant. “That means that suppliers looking to increase their export penetration will travel the world to assess new markets and establish business relationships. Exhibitions like Tyrexpo Africa are perfect for them as it provides a ready-made opportunity to get under the skin of a market and meet the people who can deliver results for them.”
In addition to the trade show, ECI will again be staging a one-day tire industry conference during the event.
