Art Lutz, former tire wholesaler and president of the National Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association (NTDRA), has died at the age of 93.
Lutz owned Lutz Tire Co. Inc., which he founded in 1969 in Portland, Ore.
He served as NTDRA president from 1993 to 1994, and also was past president of the Northwest Tire Dealers Association (NWTDA), which presented him with an Outstanding Achievement Award in 1988. Lutz was inducted into the NWTDA Hall of Fame that same year.
