CTNA ad campaign focuses on 'confidence'

Continental Tire North America Inc.'s (CTNA) upcoming ad campaign will be based on the theme of "confidence."

The campaign will start next month and will feature "sleekly styled" ads, each containing an image of a vehicle in gold tones. Vehicles highlighted will include Porsches, Bentleys, Land Rovers and others.

"A tag line on each ad is matched to the specific vehicle image," say CTNA officials. "For instance, the tag line on an ad for the ultra-high performance ContiSportContact 2 VMAX tire... proclaims 'Your Continental tires are tuned to give your vehicle maximum performance."

The ads will run in a "wide range" of print and electronic publications, as well as in CTNA's point-of-sale materials.
