New Easter Tire outlet doing well

Dec. 4, 2003

Business has been great at Easter Tire Co.'s new store in Lima, Ohio, says Easter Tire President Kurt Emans.

The 20,000-square-foot facility opened four weeks ago.

It is the Lima-based dealership's seventh outlet; all of them are in northwest Ohio.

Light truck tires make up "a large part of our business," according to Emans.

Easter Tire's new store sports a mountain of rocks in its showroom that display LT tires designed for off-road applications.

Easter Tire, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year, sells Goodyear, Kelly, Michelin, BFGoodrich and Bridgestone brand tires, among others.

Its annual sales total $12 million, says Emans.
