Michelin Americas Truck Tires (MATT) will hike its commercial truck tire prices in addition to forthcoming passenger and light truck tire price increases.
MATT will boost replacement commercial truck tires in both the Michelin and BFGoodrich brands by 5%, on average.
The increase will go into effect on Jan. 1, 2004, for MATT's directly billed North American fleet accounts, and Feb. 1, 2004, for its replacement dealers.
Michelin North America Inc. will raise prices on select passenger and light truck tires up to 5% the same day.
Both Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. and Continental Tire North America Inc. raised prices on select tires earlier today.
Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC will implement price increases on the first of the year.
