Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. reports Goodyear India Ltd. has earned the CAPEXIL (Chemicals & Allied Products Export Promotion Council) Export award for the second year in a row.
The award is sponsored by India's Ministry of Commerce.
Goodyear India manufactures and markets radial and bias tires for most applications and for the OE and replacement tire segments. It has manufacturing plants in Aurangabad and Ballabgarh (Haryana).
Goodyear India also exports its products to 18 countries.
"This is a very important award for us," says Antonio Capellini, chairman and managing director for Goodyear India. "We are not among the big volume exporters yet, but our trend and growth is very good."
