Ford Motor Co. has chosen Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires for its 2004 F-150 4x4.
The new F-150 4x4 is the high-powered option for off-road enthusiasts, with a package that includes larger diameter tires and wheels,
off-road tuned shocks and additional performance features.
The Goodyear Wrangler AT/S is a premium all-terrain radial that combines aggressive off-road traction with quiet, stable on-road
driveability, says the company.
Goodyear engineers said the Wrangler AT/S tires were tested and tuned for the F-150 on Goodyear's 7,250-acre test facility in San Angelo, Texas.
Goodyear is supplying its Wrangler AT/S tires in size LT275/65R18 for the vehicle. The fitment represents Goodyear's first 18-inch
original equipment selection in radial light truck tires.
The same size of Wrangler AT/S tires also have been selected as original equipment on the 2004 Ford Harley-Davidson Edition pickup and the
2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty.
