Bridgestone/Firestone North American Tire LLC (BFNT) officials announced several new tires slated for 2004 introduction at the company's dealer meeting this morning at the International Tire Expo (ITE).

New tires include:

* the Bridgestone Insignia SE200, which already has OE fitments on the Toyota Corolla and Chevy Malibu;

* the Bridgestone Potenza 6009, an H-rated product that will replace the Bridgestone RE910 and Bridgestone Eager. Hitting the market this April, the tire will be available in 24 sizes and will compete against the Goodyear Eagle, BFGoodrich Traction T/A and similar tires;

BFNT also will roll out the Grenadier PLE, an associate brand touring tire. The T-rated Grenadier will be available in 21 sizes with an 80,000-mile warranty.

In addition, BFNT will add sizes to its Turanza LS and Dueler A/T Revo lines. And in April, the Bridgestone Dueler H/P will get a 20-inch fitment.
