ASA Tire Systems has teamed up with SonicWALL Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive Internet security solutions, to bring secure remote connectivity to tire dealers with widely distributed networks.
The relationship with SonicWALL enables users of ASA Tire System's TireMax and TirePro products to securely connect their locations over high-speed Internet connections using cost-effective, high-performance Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
ASA Tire Systems deploys SonicWALL firewall appliances for the highest level of network security and reliability, says the company.
"The tire industry has typically relied upon costly frame relay and point-to-point leased line technology to connect their locations; some are even using cumbersome dial-up connections," said David Duchesne, director of sales and marketing for ASA Tire Systems.
