Jack Winterton has been named vice president of replacement sales for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s North American Tire (NAT) operations.

Winterton was previously director of field sales for consumer tires. He now assumes overall responsibility for consumer replacement sales through all channels of distribution, according to Jon Rich, president of NAT. This includes oversight of the corporate accounts business as well as the wholesale tire centers.

Tom Gravalos, director of corporate accounts, will now report through Winterton's new organization. Harold Strakusak, director of wholesale tire centers, will report to Eric Brown, general manager of wholesale distribution.

Winterton, 50, started in inside sales as a store manager trainee for Ameron Automotive Centers, a division of Kelly-Springfield, in 1973.
