Lawn and garden tire distributor Carefree Tire LLC has opened a new distribution center in Chattanooga, Tenn., its second.
"This will not only reduce lead times, but will considerably reduce freight charges as well," says Carefree General Manager Bill Hory.
Carefree is a wholly owned subsidiary of South Gate, Calif.-based flatproof fill manufacturer Arnco Inc. Carefree's other distribution center is in Los Angeles.
Domestically, Arnco also has a distribution center in Cleveland, Ohio.
