Treadways Corp. has appointed Koji Aoyama vice president of operations.
Aoyama began his career with Sumitomo Corp. in 1984, and for the past five years has been assigned to Treadways Corp. as manager of logistics and operations and director of operations.
He is based out of the Treadways Corp. headquarters in East Norriton, Pa., and reports to Roy Araki, president.
Mark Ueno, recently COO, will return to Japan in mid-September and has been appointed assistant to the general manager of the materials and real estate business in Tokyo for Sumitomo Corp.
Ueno has been involved with Treadways for the past seven years and was responsible for overseeing the opening and operation of Treadways' mixing warehouse in Southaven, Miss.
