Michelin North America Inc. (MNA) Chairman and President Jim Micali has been elected to Sonoco's board of directors.
He replaces Alan Dickson, who recently retired from Sonoco's board.
"Jim brings an outstanding background in the global manufacturing arena," says Sonoco Chairman Charles Coker.
Micali has been MNA's top man since 1996. He is responsible for the company's United States, Canada and Mexico operations.
