Yokohama Tire Corp. will be the official tire supplier of the Jim Russell Racing School for the next three years.
"Yokohama will continue to provide racing slicks, karting tires and high performance street tires" for the Sonoma, Calif.-based school, according to Yokohama officials.
The deal gives Yokohama visibility on Jim Russell's cars and sales materials, and at facilities where the school's courses are taught.
Yokohama has sponsored the Jim Russell Racing School since 1990 and also is the official tire supplier of Infineon Raceway, where the school is headquartered.
