Dunn Tire marks 30th anniversary

Cheektowaga, N.Y.-based Dunn Tire Corp. kicked off its 30th anniversary last night with a celebration in nearby Buffalo, N.Y.

The event was attended by key Dunn Tire management personnel, including Dunn Tire Chairman Randy Clark, plus state, city and county dignitaries.

Buffalo Mayor Anthony Masiello also declared it "Dunn Tire Day."

The dealership has anniversary festivities planned throughout the year, including various promotions, according to Dunn Tire Director of Marketing and Advertising Pat Logue.

Dunn Tire was started in 1973 by Buffalo tire dealer Jim Dunn.

It now employs nearly 300 people at 26 stores, and is the 38th largest independent tire store chain in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
