Moosic, Pa.-based Jack Williams Tire Co. is putting the finishing touches on two more stores in Pennsylvania, one of which will cater to the high performance tuner market.

The company's 20,000-square-foot, 19-bay high performance tire center is located in Kingston, Pa., and will open at the end of the month.

Another store -- a 7,000-square-foot, eight-bay facility in Palmyra, Pa. -- is slated to open soon.

Jack Williams Tire President Bill Williams also is negotiating to buy another shop.

Jack Williams Tire is the 55th largest independent tire store chain in North America with 21 stores as of right now, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.

The dealership's 2002 sales totaled $45 million.
