Ed Reading takes over Oliver Rubber subsidiary at Cooper

Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has named Edward Reading to vice president, retread products and international sales.

In his new role, Reading is responsible for retread products and custom mixing in addition to international tire sales. He has assumed management of Oliver Rubber sales and marketing.

Acquired by Cooper in 1999, Oliver Rubber Co. manufactures and distributes tread rubber and retreading systems through an extensive network of licensed dealers.

Reading joined Cooper Tire in 1989 as director of international sales, the position he held until his recent promotion.

Prior to joining Cooper, he was general manager for international sales at Myers Industries, vice president of sales at Imex International, and export sales manager at Myers Tire Supply.
