Murray family wins top O.K. Tire Stores honors

Members of the Murray family received 2002 "Store-of-the-Year" awards at the O.K. Tire Stores Inc. National Conference and 50th anniversary celebration held recently in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The family's O.K. Tire Stores in northern Ontario communities of Val Rita and Kapuskasing earned the National Store-of-the-Year award, accepted by Rejean Murray on behalf of brothers/partners Justin and Martin.

Luc Murray and his wife, Marianne, accepted the Central Region award for the O.K. Tire Stores location in Timmins.

All the Murrays emphasized that "the key to our success has been our staff and their commitment to ensure that we offer the best service possible to our customers and the communities we reside in."

O.K. Tire Stores Inc. has 230 independent tire and auto service locations across Canada with annual retail sales of more than $250 million, the company reports.
