Ontario Tire Dealers Association members are back from a "very successful" dealer conference held in Varadero Beach, Cuba.
"Great food, great music, great seminars," says Executive Director John Goodwin. "The seminar presenters were happy with the results, and so were the delegates."
About 85 dealers and family members attended the event, which ran from Janunary 25 until February 1. Twenty-two Canadian tire dealerships were represented with a total of 80-90 retail outlets.
Seminars were held each morning over four days, followed by a golf tournament and a free day to visit Havanna or go sailing and swimming with dolphins.
The group may return to Cuba for its conference in 2006, Goodwin adds.
