Hennessy Industries' new Coats 9024E tire changer can handle any wheel up to 24 inches in diameter.
The 9024E was created "to accomodate changing needs in the marketplace," says Kevin Keefe, Hennessy product manager.
"Tires and wheels are getting bigger and shops need equipment that can handle these larger assemblies while protecting expensive finishes and making the technician's job easier."
The 9024E comes with a robotic arm to flex stiff sidewalls and moveable discs for extra holding force, and can handle run-flat and low-profile tires, according to Hennessy officials.
