Dunn Tire gives bicycles to kids

Dunn Tire LLC has donated 50 bicycles to a Buffalo, N.Y., "Toys For Tots" campaign.

Dunn Tire officials Mike O'Neil and Pat Logue delivered the bikes to Buffalo's Naval and Marine Reserve Center.

Dunn Tire, in conjunction with American Car Care Centers, ran a promotion from Nov. 1 through Dec. 25 in which any Dunn Tire customer who bought four designated new tires could purchase a new bicycle for $9.99, or donate the bicycle to "Toys for Tots."

For every bike donated by customers, Dunn Tire donated an additional bike to the charity, say Dunn Tire officials.

The Cheektowaga, N.Y.-based dealership is the 32nd largest independent tire store chain in North America with 32 outlets. according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
