Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. launched its newest touring tire, the Cooper GFE, earlier today during the Specialty Equipment Market Association Show in Las Vegas, Nev.
The GFE will be available in eight sizes during "the latter part of 2009" and will come with a 60,000-mile tread wear warranty, according to Cooper officials.
The tire contains an optimized tread design with tapered lateral slots, "unique 3D sipes to increase gripping edges as the tire wears," a silica tread compound and other features.
