East Bay Tire Co. (EBT) introduced a commercial truck tire line and a radial earthmover line at the 2015 Global tire Expo in Las Vegas.
Joseph Pehanick, wholesale manager for EBT, says the entry-level Tier 3 truck tires are the first in the Dawg Pound line and represent a new segment for EBT.
He says all the tires have a two-casing warranty. In addition, the new line has a SmartWay-approved tire for each axle position.
EBT also displayed its new radial earthmover tire, the Rock Dawg radial. Pehanick says the tire is produced in Vietnam tariff-free. The tire has an E3L3 tread design, an all-steel casing and is two-star rated.
The size range is 15.5 R25 through 29.5 R25. The company plans to add more sizes, tread designs and applications to the line in the future, according to Pehanick.
