You can now support the ongoing efforts to fight breast cancer by purchasing pink “awareness” air pressure gauges from Dill Air Controls Products LLC.
In October, a member of Dill’s Oxford, N.C., factory’s shipping department died following a long battle with breast cancer.
To celebrate her life, and bring awareness to the importance of early detection and ongoing education to save lives, Dill is offering the pink air gauges, which are sold 50 to a glass jar. The gauges are made in Dill’s North Carolina factory and all proceeds from their sale will be donated to charity.
According to recent national statistics, one in eight U.S. women and one in nine Canadian women will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. Although not as common, this disease also affects men.
