McGee Tire Stores Inc. has opened its 30th store in Valrico, Fla. The new McGee Auto Service & Tires outlet has 11 service bays with one bay dedicated to commercial trucks and RVs.
The company gutted and remodeled the building, which is located at 2516 E SR 60.
The new shop is stocked with wheel alignment, tire mounting, brake service and wheel balancing equipment from Hunter Engineering Co. Amenities for customers include a waiting area with a private business center that features WiFi, extra outlets and USB connections. For families with kids in tow, there’s a spacious play area to help keep them entertained.
From its beginnings with just two stores branded as “O.K. Tire Stores,” McGee Auto Service & Tires has been serving Florida drivers for over 42 years. Founded by John McGee, the company has grown to include stores in Port Richey, Zephyrhills, Tampa, Brandon, Clearwater, Bradenton, and other locations.
The opening of the 30th store ties the company for No. 37 on the MTD 100 list of the nation’s top independent dealers.
