Duties Shift for 3 Toyo Executives

Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. has named a new corporate officer effective Nov. 1, and shifted the assignments of three other executives.

These Toyo executives will take on new assignments beginning Nov. 1, 2015:

Tetsuya Kuze will add the following responsibilities: corporate officer; general manager of DT Planning Division and DT Business Group Headquarters; general manager, DT Strategy and Planning Department and DT Business Group Headquarters. Kuze will relinquish responsibilities as senior corporate officer; general manager of the Administrative Division and Corporate Planning Division; and overseeing Corporate Purchasing Division. Kuze will continue to serve as deputy general manager of the Seismic Isolation Rubber Division.

Takashi Shimizu will give up responsibilities as deputy general manager of the Administrative Division but continue with the duties assigned to these titles: senior corporate officer; general manager of theTire Planning Division and Tire Business Group Headquarters; and general manager of the North America Business Unit.

Masaji Ishino will give up responsibilities as general manager of DT Strategy and Planning Department and DT Business Group Headquarters and continue as senior corporate officer and group executive officer of DT Business.

In addition, Ikuo Ohno has been named a new corporate officer effective Nov. 1, 2015. Ohno also will serve as general manager of the Administrative Division and the Corporate Planning Division. Ohno will continue as general manager of the Accounting and Finance Department and Administrative Division, and as president of F.T.G. Co. Ltd.

The company also is making an organizational change. The DT Planning Division is newly established under DT Business Group Headquarters. The DT Strategy and Planning Department and DT Administration Department are transferred to it.
