Falken Tire Corp. has held its annual dealer meeting in some pretty unique places. From Jackson Hole, Wyo., to Prague, Czech Republic, the tire company has always gone out of its way to reward its best customers with a trip to remember.
This year, the company is holding its dealer meeting in Kansas City, Mo., of all places. The hook: Falken is taking its dealers to the first game of the 2015 World Series, pitting the Kansas City Royals against the New York Mets.
Falken will be the official tire of Major League Baseball when the spring 2016 season begins (see "Falken is Pro Baseball's Official Tire"). The company is just getting the partnership started at the 2015 World Series.
On Monday, Oct. 26, Falken held a tailgate party in Kansas City. Falken executives will talk about the company's new tires at today's dealer meeting. At 8 p.m., those same dealers will be sitting in Kauffman Stadium for game one of the World Series.
