Purcell Tire & Rubber Co. has moved its Albuquerque, N.M., store to a larger location in the city.
“We’re confident that this move will allow us to meet the ever-growing demand for tires and vehicle service in the area,” says John Puchi, Albuquerque store manager.
“Our staff is excited about having a new, larger space to use for offering New Mexico tires and total car care from our trained and experienced staff.”
Purcell Tire purchased an existing building and renovated it. The 35,000-square-foot store has eight bays and offers both retail and commercial tire sales and service. Big truck alignments are performed using the latest Hunter Engineering Co. equipment. The store has 15 employees and 2,500 tires in stock. Customer amenities include refreshments, free wi-fi, courtesy shuttle service. The outlet offers easy access off of Interstate 25.
The company says the new location will provide the same affordable tires and service Albuquerque residents were accustomed to at the previous location. The new address is 1400 Mission Avenue NE, Albuquerque, N.M., 87107.
To celebrate the new location, the company will host a customer appreciation BBQ event on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its new address.
The event is intended to give new clientele a preview of the new location while showing gratitude to existing customers. It promises to offer a day of fun for families and people of all ages. Visitors will enjoy an event-filled day that includes vendors, special promotions and exclusive giveaways. There will also be antique cars on display during the festivities. The event is open to the public.
