Vipal Will Exhibit Treads in Colombia

Sept. 30, 2015

Vipal Rubber Corp. will highlight its DV-RT4 tread and the exclusive treads of its Eco line at the National Transport Conference (Colfecar) Oct. 7 - 9 at the Hotel Las Americas in Cartagena, Colombia.

Vipal says DV-RT4 technology demonstrates that it is once again ahead of the market, tuned in to its needs. Indicated for drive axles on paved highways, the DV-RT4 offers excellent drive power and high mileage efficiency. The design provides excellent resistance to abrasion and homogeneous wear until the end of its service life. It also offers greater adherence on wet roads and excellent water drainage.

In addition to the booth inside the exhibitors’ pavilion, this year Vipal will receive customers outside the fair, with a space dedicated to its Eco line of products. Launched in 2009, the advanced technology of ECO treads is developed with specialty compounds and exclusive designs, ensuring less rolling resistance, lower fuel consumption and higher mileage.

In other words, at the same time that it helps the carrier save by reducing fuel consumption by up to 10%, a quite significant percentage within a fleet, it also preserves the environment, according to Vipal. Other Eco line items include the DV-UM3 ECO, with an exclusive Vipal design, for radial tires on drive or trailer axles, ideal for use on city streets.

Vipal has dedicated one of its three plants in Brazil solely to the production of exports. Vipal’s main markets are Latin America, Europe and the United States. To meet the specific needs of each location, which range from technical requirements to cultural, geographic and legal differences, the company invests in the development of specific products to improve performance in different regions.

Vipal has authorized retreaders, permanent regional teams and its own distribution centers at strategic global locations to provide full support to international customers. In Colombia, the company has a branch office and a distribution center. It also has facilities in the United States, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Slovenia, Australia, Argentina and Chile.
