Horizon Tire Inc. has hired Sid Parr as director of commercial sales, a newly created position.
Parr has worked with Asian tire manufacturers for more than 24 years. Prior to joining Horizon, he served as a district manager for the western United States with China Manufacturers Alliance LLC, the U.S. marketing arm of Double Coin Holdings Ltd.
In his new position, Parr will be in charge of developing and growing Horizon's commercial sales in North America.
Horizon Tire and Parr will unveil a new commercial tire line at the 2015 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas. Horizon's booth (No. 42221) will be located in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The SEMA Show and its companion event, the Global Tire Expo, will run from Nov. 3-6.
