Several German automotive magazines have given Goodyear and Dunlop brand winter tires high marks in a series of independent tests.
Magazines that performed the evaluations include AutoBild, Stitung Warentest, and others. Tires receiving recognition include the Goodyear Eagle Ultra Grip 7+, the Dunlop SP Winter Response and the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D.
Winter tires account for nearly 30% of total replacement consumer tire sales in Europe, according to Goodyear research.
"The use of winter tires is required by law in several European countries, including Austria, Sweden, Finland and the Baltics."
