Dill: New valve stem simplifies TPMS

July 20, 2015

Dill Air Controls Products LLC has introduced a chrome-plated, corrosion-free clamp-in valve stem to help simplify TPMS service. The VS-45 clamp-in valve stem attaches to the REDI-Sensor push-clip design.

The VS-45 clamp-in valve stem is designed for high performance and high pressure applications as well as aftermarket wheel packages and high corrosion environments. The company says using REDI-Sensor’s “Remove from Box, Install in Wheel, and Perform the OEM Recommended Relearn” process will continue to save production time and labor cost in the service bay.

The VS-45 valve stem launch aligns with REDI-Sensor’s simple snap-in rubber stem, the VS-90. The  VS-90 is pulled into the valve hole, followed by sliding the sensor onto the metal key at the base of the stem. It will lock in place and is effortlessly removed by pushing the button on the sensor, according to Dill. The company says, “No screws, no nuts, no headaches.”
