Goodyear adds 3 truck service centers

July 10, 2015

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. is opening three new Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers in Dearborn, Mich., Montgomery, Ala. and Garland, Texas.

“These state-of-the-art centers are important pieces in our expanding Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Network,” says Paul Wanstreet, president of Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers. “They enable us to more effectively serve trucking operations, whether they are based in Dearborn, Montgomery or Garland, or are passing through.”

The new facilities offer the following products and services:

  • New Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly brand medium truck tires, including Goodyear’s Fuel Max tires made from low rolling resistance fuel compounds to help trucking fleets save money by lowering their fuel consumption;
  • Goodyear retreads, including those that contain Goodyear’s spliceless UniCircle Technology;
  • Goodyear-Fleet HQ 24/7 Emergency Roadside Service, which has helped more than one million trucks return to service and offers an industry-leading, average roll-time of two hours and 11 minutes;
  • Tire balancing services and more.

The Dearborn Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center spans 24,000 square feet, has two service bays and is located at 10421 Ford Road.

The 18,000-square-foot Montgomery location features four service bays and is located at 3001 Hayneville Road.

The Garland Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Center spans 14,000 square feet, has two bays and is located at 2820 Market Street.

“We look forward to continuing to provide the premium products and services that fleets have come to expect from Goodyear,” says Wanstreet.
