Goodyear Tire Notes: Daytona

June 30, 2015

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Race No. 17 – Coke Zero 400
NASCAR Xfinity Series: Race No. 15 – Subway Firecracker 250
Daytona International Speedway (2.5-mile oval) – Daytona Beach, Fla., July 3-5, 2015

Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Xfinity Series will run
the same Goodyear tire codes at Daytona this week. This is the
same combination of left- and right-side tires that these teams have
run at Daytona since July 2013.

Xfinity teams have also run this tire set-up at Talladega the past two seasons.

As on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner
liners in all four tire positions at Daytona. Air pressure in
those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
