Falken sets up a commercial division

June 15, 2015

Falken Tire Corp. has expanded its sales force and established a commercial division headed by Bob Klimm  to focus on truck and bus radial (TBR) business.

Klimm, who currently manages Falken’s Canada and Northeast U.S. division, will transition to the role of manager of the new commercial division. Falken says the commercial group will be staffed with three zone managers who will be aligned with the company’s current consumer divisions operating in the west, northeast and southeast.

Klimm will report to Andrew Hoit, Falken’s vice president of sales.

“Falken has decided the timing was right to invest in our internal sales department with a fresh structure boasting new personnel and increased headcount,” says Hoit.

“Falken’s expanding sales team is still evolving, and the latest upgrade to our department is representative of a commitment to the commercial business.”

Falken also announced that Jules “JR” Nottolini will take over as the new Northeast consumer division manager. Nottolini joins Falken from Hankook Tire U.S.A., where he served as a regional director.

Based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Falken Tire Corp. is the West Coast distribution center for North American operations of Falken Tire. Falken Tire is a subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. in Japan.
