Robert Bosch LLC’s latest aftermarket portfolio additions include new part numbers for brake pads and rotating machines and expanded coverage on oil filters and wipers.
A total of 71 part numbers have been added. Details follow.
Bosch Blue Brake pads
This month, Bosch has added three Bosch Blue Brake pad sets to its braking components portfolio for late-model European vehicles. The company says the brake pads are specially designed to deliver quality, value and performance to the everyday driver. Their OE-style, multi-layer shims provide superior noise dampening characteristics. For additional protection and value, select Bosch Blue Brake pad sets are towel-wrapped in a material similar to that of shop towels that technicians use on a daily basis while working on their customers’ cars.
The three new Bosch Blue SKUs cover nearly 475,000 additional units in operation, such as the 2008-2013 BMW 128i; several 2006-2007 Mercedes Benz models, 2013-2015 Audi RS5 and 2005 – 2009 Porsche Cayenne.
Rotating machines
Bosch has added four part numbers covering 773,000 additional late-model European vehicles in operation.
The new releases include remanufactured starters and alternators for late model Audi and VW applications from as early as 2004 to the current model year.
The new remanufactured alternator covers a variety of Volkswagen models including 2004-2006 Volkswagen Beetle 4-cyl. 1.9L diesel; 2011-2014 Volkswagen Jetta 4-cyl. 2.5 L gas; 2012-2014 Volkswagen Passat L4-Cyl. 2.0L turbocharged and more.
The new remanufactured starters cover a variety of Volkswagen and Audi models including 2014 – 2015 Volkswagen Beetle L4-cyl. 1.8L; 2015 Volkswagen Golf L4-cyl. 1.8L; 2014 – 2015 Volkswagen Jetta L4-cyl. 1.8L; 2014 – 2015 Volkswagen Passat L4-Cyl. 1.8L gas; 2007 – 2010 Audi Q7 V-8 Cyl. 4.2L; 2007 – 2011 Audi S6 V10-Cyl. 5.2L and 2007 – 2009 Audi S8 V10-Cyl. 5.2L.
The company says its alternators and starters are 100% performance-tested and are designed for longer, more reliable service.
Bosch oil filters
Bosch is highlighting 62 oil filters from its DistancePlus, Premium and Workshop oil filter lines for which coverage has been expanded to include 2015 applications. These filters now cover an additional 13.9 million domestic, Asian and European vehicles in operation.

Bosch wiper blades
Bosch Aerotwin is a direct OE replacement for vehicles requiring specific connection types and features an integrated wind spoiler design. Coverage has been extended on one existing Aerotwin set to include an additional 381,000 late-model European vehicles in operation. New coverage includes 2006-2010 BMW 3 Series (Sedan and Wagon) and 2007-2010 BMW M3 (Sedan).
The Bosch Twin wiper blade features OE fit and function. It offers a pre-assembled OE-style adapter available for various connection types and is easy to install. Coverage has been extended for one Twin set by an additional 378,000 European vehicles in operation, including 1996-2001 Audi A4 and S4; 1996-2001 Audi A4 Avant and S4 Avant; and 1998-2001 Volkswagen Passat.
