TBC names executive for franchise leadership

TBC Corp. has named Bill Birkins senior vice president for franchise leadership. In the newly created position, Birkins will lead the day-to-day operations of TBC’s three franchise organizations:  Big O Tires, Midas, and SpeeDee Oil Change and Auto Service.

Birkins has more than 32 years of experience in leading and growing a diverse portfolio of businesses in retail and consumer brands and products. Birkins will report to Brant Wilson, senior vice president of TBC’s Franchise Group.

“As TBC’s franchise operations continue to grow, we are excited to welcome Bill into this newly developed role,” says Wilson. “His leadership skills and experience will assist all three of our franchise organizations as we work to increase brand awareness and strive to exceed the expectations of our customers,” says Wilson.

Birkins joins TBC from H&R Block, Inc. where he was the vice president of operations and managing director leading the organization’s operations throughout the southeastern United States and Puerto Rico.

His career includes leadership roles at Hallmark Cards Inc. and General Electric Co.
